President Christodoulides Visits Bahrain to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

President Nikos Christodoulides is on an official visit to Manama, Bahrain, to strengthen bilateral relations. The visit takes place during a significant period, as Cyprus holds the Presidency of the Council of the EU and Bahrain presides over the Gulf Cooperation Council. President Christodoulides emphasized the importance of cooperation between the EU and Gulf countries, as well as the progress made in Cyprus-Bahrain relations in various fields, including defense, trade, culture, and tourism. During the visit, the signing of nine agreements and memoranda of understanding is expected, as well as the establishment of a Cypriot embassy in Bahrain.
