Strait of Hormuz: Greek-Owned Vessel 'Star Gwyneth' Also Hit

A Greek-owned vessel, the Star Gwyneth, was hit by projectiles of unknown origin in the Strait of Hormuz area, along with two other commercial ships. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries among the crews. The Star Gwyneth is a bulk carrier with a capacity of 83,000 dwt, built in 2006 and sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands. The incident occurred approximately 50 nautical miles northwest of Dubai. The owning company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and manages a large fleet of bulk carriers.
