Growing Demand for Elon Musk's Starlink in Greece

Demand for Starlink, the satellite internet service from SpaceX, is steadily increasing in Greece, offering solutions in areas with limited access to fast internet. According to Ookla, Greece ranks 10th globally in terms of Starlink usage. The service has been operating in Greece for about three and a half years, starting in remote areas and gradually expanding to urban centers. The company is estimated to have surpassed 60,000 subscribers in Greece, holding a 5% share of the Greek internet market. Starlink differentiates itself from traditional providers by offering internet exclusively with competitive speeds and flexible pricing. The creation of ground infrastructure, such as the Starlink Gateway Preveza, is expected to further enhance coverage and reliability.
