A shocking case of child abuse is unfolding in France. A 79-year-old former teacher is accused of aggravated rape and sexual assault against 89 minors in various countries around the world, including France, Germany, Switzerland, and New Caledonia, between 1967 and 2022. The evidence came to light from a USB drive containing details of his sexual relationships with minors aged 13 to 17, discovered by his nephew. The investigation, conducted in Grenoble, revealed that the 79-year-old confessed, in addition to the sexual assaults, to the murders of his mother and aunt. According to his confessions, he suffocated his cancer-stricken mother with a pillow in the 1970s and his 92-year-old aunt in the 1990s, also with a pillow, because she pleaded with him not to move away. The man is also said to have expressed a desire to suffer the same fate if he were in the condition of his victims at the end of their lives. Justice is now seeking witnesses to testify regarding the charges and the extent of the crimes. The case is causing widespread concern and condemnation in France and internationally, while highlighting the need for increased protection of minors and the immediate prosecution of such heinous crimes. Authorities continue their investigations to uncover all aspects of the case and bring the perpetrator to justice.
