A low-pressure system centered in Egypt will affect Cyprus this weekend, bringing dust into the atmosphere until Sunday. Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy, with local showers and northeast winds of 3-5 Beaufort. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees Celsius inland, around 11 on the coast, and 3 in the mountains, where frost is expected. Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly cloudy with rain and possible thunderstorms, while snow or sleet is not ruled out in the Troodos Mountains. Winds will be northeast 4-6 Beaufort with gusts up to 7 Beaufort, and the sea will be rough. The temperature will rise to 17 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and to 8 in the mountains. Tomorrow night, the weather will remain cloudy with rain and thunderstorms. Winds will shift to northwest, 3-5 Beaufort, and the sea will be rough. On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and a possible thunderstorm, while snow or sleet is not ruled out in the Troodos Mountains. The weather will improve in the afternoon. On Monday and Tuesday, locally increased cloud cover is expected. The temperature will rise slightly on Sunday, remaining near the average climatic values, while no significant change is expected on Monday and Tuesday.
