Dogs Found Dead in Sewage Drain in Astromeritis

Three dogs were found dead inside a sewage drain in the Astromeritis area of the Nicosia district. The Fire Service responded to a call for animal rescue, but upon arrival, it was determined that the animals were already deceased. Fire Department Spokesman Andreas Kettis confirmed the incident. The cause of death of the dogs has not been clarified, but the location within the sewage drain suggests possible exposure to hazardous substances or lack of oxygen.
