Spain Train Collision: Death Toll Rises to 39

A train collision in Andalusia, Spain, has resulted in the deaths of 39 people and injuries to 152, many of whom are in serious condition. The collision occurred when a high-speed train from Iryo derailed and collided with a Renfe train. The force of the impact was so great that the first two carriages of the Renfe train were thrown off the tracks. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which is described as 'very strange' due to the circumstances – on a straight section of renovated track and with an almost new train. The Spanish Prime Minister has cancelled all his commitments today to oversee the rescue operations.
