Fire Service: Months-Long Leak at Viomylanda Factory Led to Deadly Explosion

According to the Fire Service, the fatal explosion at the "Viomylanda" factory was caused by a months-long propane leak. The leak was detected in an underground pipe and accumulated in a basement area, where a spark from electromechanical equipment led to the explosion. Inspections revealed ice on the pipelines of the propane tank, indicating recent operation. The leak was so significant that detection instruments recorded extremely high concentrations of propane in the soil.
