President: "Everything Possible to Revitalize Livestock Farming" - Plan for Full Restoration

President Christodoulides assured that the government has a plan for the full restoration of livestock farming, following reactions from farmers who blocked the culling of their animals. The government has invested a total of 60 million euros to address the challenges arising from last summer's fire. The President announced the coverage of the loss of profits resulting from the protocols, as well as the intention to cooperate with farmers to replenish animal losses and address the problem of occupied territories. He stressed the need for an opportunity to build a better livestock farming industry, with emphasis on selecting suitable locations for livestock units and addressing problems created in British Bases. The President called on all organized groups to cooperate in the revitalization and strengthening of livestock farming in the country. The government is committed to doing everything possible to support the sector and address the challenges it faces.
