President of Cyprus: Cooperation Projects Under Mediterranean Pact to be Presented at Informal Council

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, announced that the first specific cooperation projects under the Mediterranean Pact will be presented at the Informal European Council to be held in Cyprus on April 23rd and 24th. Cyprus, exercising its Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will strengthen efforts to further develop the EU's relations with countries in the Middle East region, leveraging its geographical location, political credibility and knowledge of the area. President Christodoulides emphasized that Cyprus will play an active and responsible role in promoting such initiatives, contributing to the formation of a framework for substantial dialogue and cooperation for stability, security and prosperity in the region.
