Palestinian Embassy: Israel's Measures in West Bank Violate International Law

The Palestinian Embassy in Cyprus has condemned recent measures taken by Israel in the occupied West Bank, describing them as a violation of international law and UN resolutions. The Embassy argues that attempts to impose Israeli sovereignty over Palestinian territories undermine the Palestinians' right to self-determination and endanger any peaceful prospects, as well as the Oslo Agreement. Furthermore, it accuses Israel of exploiting the inaction of the international community and impunity to advance its unilateral actions. The Embassy calls on the international community, the European Union, and the Republic of Cyprus to pressure Israel to end its illegal actions and respect international law. The Republic of Cyprus, as the current EU president, is urged to prioritize the issue.
