Investigation of All Complaints Needed,' Annita Demetriou Says After Meeting with Fytiris

DISY President, Annita Demetriou, met with Minister of Justice, Kostas Fytiris, to discuss public safety and organized crime issues. Demetriou emphasized DISY's readiness to contribute to strengthening the mechanisms for preventing and suppressing organized crime and called for a full investigation of all publicized complaints. Agreement was reached on the need for measures such as asset confiscation, the construction of new prisons, legislative regulation for surveillance, and the creation of a special unit for organized crime. Additionally, it was proposed to install cameras on busy roads to prevent and detect criminal activity.
