47-Year-Old Arrested for Selling Four Fake Mobile Phones for €2,000

Police are investigating a fraud case reported by a 30-year-old in Paralimni. The man claims he purchased four mobile phones for €2,000, which later turned out to be counterfeit. According to the report, the 30-year-old was approached by two unknown individuals who offered him the phones. After completing the transaction, he discovered that the phones were not genuine. During the investigation, evidence emerged against a 47-year-old, who was arrested today under a court warrant. The suspect is expected to appear before the Famagusta District Court tomorrow for an arrest warrant. The Famagusta TAE continues its investigations into the case to determine the extent of the fraud and identify any potential accomplices.
