Cyprus Dam Water Levels Remain Low

The overall water level in Cyprus dams currently stands at 13.8%, compared to 26% during the same period last year. The total water volume in the dams is 40,078 million cubic meters (MCM), with a total capacity of 290,804 MCM. Kouris Dam, the largest in Cyprus, has a fullness of 12.3%, while Asprokremmos is at 12.5%. Evretou Dam shows a fullness of 18%. Kalopanagiotis Dam (100%) and Pomos Dam (94.7%) are in better condition. Conversely, Achna, Germanos and Kalavasos dams are at very low levels (1.8%, 3.3% and 8% respectively).
