Christodoulos Walk 2026: A Tradition of Solidarity and Social Contribution

The Christodoulos Walk, the longest-running cancer awareness and support campaign in Cyprus, continues for its 51st year, promoting solidarity and giving back to the community. Organized by the Cyprus Anticancer Association and the Bank of Cyprus, the event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in all cities of Cyprus, calling on all citizens to participate and show their support. The entire month of April is dedicated to the work of the Cyprus Anticancer Association, with fundraising events and activities nationwide, starting with the Road Collection on April 2nd. Simultaneously, the Bank of Cyprus is undertaking the "Be There" campaign across all Media and Social Media, financially supporting the Association through various initiatives. Specifically, the Bank of Cyprus will donate €0.05 to the Anticancer Association for every transaction made with "reward" cards from March 26th to April 5th, 2026, as well as through the QuickPay Care service by scanning a QR code. In addition, a charity event for children will be held at Nicosia Mall on April 4th and 5th, with proceeds going to the Association. The proceeds from the Walk and April's activities will strengthen the services of the Anticancer Association, such as in-hospital care at the "Arodafnousa" Palliative Care Center, home medical and nursing care, psychological and social support, as well as prevention and awareness campaigns.
