Poland Bans Chinese Vehicles from Military Bases

Poland has banned the entry of Chinese-made vehicles into military installations due to concerns about the potential collection of sensitive data through the sensors they contain. The vehicles will only be allowed to enter secure facilities if certain functions are disabled and security regulations are followed. In addition, the connection of corporate phones to the entertainment systems of Chinese vehicles is prohibited. The restrictions do not apply to facilities with public access. Poland describes the measures as precautionary and consistent with practices used by NATO members and other allies to protect defense infrastructure.
