Turkish-Owned Ship Allowed to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz

A Turkish-owned ship, which had been waiting near Iran, was granted permission by Iranian authorities to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Turkey has declared a security alert at the highest level for the strait and is in contact with Iranian officials regarding the remaining 14 Turkish-owned ships in the area. The war in the region has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz, causing concerns about global energy supplies. Additionally, Turkish Airlines and Ajet have canceled flights to various countries in the region, including Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, while Pegasus Airlines has canceled flights to several destinations.
