Peskov: Kremlin Representatives Will Not Attend First Peace Council Session

The Kremlin will not participate in the first session of the Peace Council, scheduled for February 19th in Washington. Moscow's position is still under consideration by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that there are no plans for representatives from the Kremlin to attend. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had previously noted that Moscow is still forming its position on the Peace Council, taking into account the cautious attitude shown by many countries, including permanent members of the UN Security Council.
