Paralympic Committee Calls on Fydias to Remove Logo from Video

The Cyprus Paralympic Committee has issued a statement regarding the use of its logo in a video by MEP Fydias Panagiotou, concerning Paralympic athletes. The Committee states that it has not given any permission or approval for the use of its logo in the video, characterizing the action as arbitrary and unacceptable, as it creates false impressions of cooperation. The Committee emphasizes that it operates with transparency and respect for all stakeholders, and any public reference or use of its logo requires an official approval process. The use of the logo without authorization is contrary to the Committee's principles. The committee calls on those responsible for the video to immediately remove the logo and issue a public clarification regarding the lack of cooperation. In the event of non-compliance, the Committee reserves the right to exercise all legal rights to protect its reputation and institutional status. The committee defines that the protection of its institutional status and the Paralympic movement in Cyprus is of utmost importance and will announce further actions in the coming days.
