Cyprus Remains Cold: Minus 3 Degrees in Mountains, 2 Inland

A cold air mass is affecting the region of Cyprus. Tonight, intermittent increases in clouds, mainly high clouds, are expected. Winds will be mainly northeasterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 2 degrees Celsius inland, around 5 degrees on the coast, and -3 degrees in the higher mountains. Frost is expected in the mountains, foothills, and locally inland. Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly cloudy with moderate to strong northeasterly winds, 4 to 5 Beaufort, becoming locally very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort in the afternoon. The sea will be slightly rough to rough, and locally rough. The temperature will rise to 12 degrees Celsius inland, around 15 degrees on the coast, and 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost will occur locally. From Thursday, sparse dust will be present in the atmosphere.
