Four New Rules That Will Be in Effect From the Next World Cup!

Four new rule changes will be in effect immediately, from the next World Cup to be held in the stadiums of America. The first expanded World Cup, in which 48 national teams will participate, is being held next summer in the stadiums of America. The United States of America, Mexico and Canada will host the games of the top competition, in which the new rules will apply as approved by the IFAB. Specifically, four new rules will be applied. Three of these will prevent delays, with the relevant bodies trying to increase the net football time. The other will concern greater fairness. Let's see... *Players who are substituted will now have 10 seconds to leave the field of play. If they need more time, the player who will enter must wait one minute before entering as a 'penalty'. *Throw-ins must be taken within 5 seconds, otherwise possession will be awarded to the opposing team. *Players receiving medical treatment, i.e. when the medical team enters, must leave the field of play and wait one minute before returning to it. *VAR will now be able to intervene in second yellow cards and corners, if there is a clear refereeing error. To save time, it will be done automatically by the VAR referees, without the first referee needing to check the phases.
