Heavy Rain Impacts Areas of Nicosia - Police Warning

Heavy rainfall is currently affecting areas of Nicosia, causing reduced visibility and water accumulation on the roads. According to the Police, the areas of Lakatamia – Kokkinotrimithia and a section of the Nicosia – Limassol highway, near Pera Chorio, are particularly hazardous. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and have their headlights on. A low-pressure system continues to affect Cyprus, with the possibility of further deterioration in weather conditions.
