Fico Denies Politico Report on Trump's Mental Health

A Politico report claimed that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed concerns about the mental health of US President Donald Trump to other European leaders following a meeting at Mar-a-Lago. According to the report, Fico described Trump as "dangerous" due to his "psychological state." Both Robert Fico and the White House accused Politico of publishing false information. Fico, via a post on X, labeled the report as "lies" and accused the website of bias and hatred. White House spokesperson Anna Kelly dismissed the information as "absolutely false." Fico also denied discussing his visit to the US with other leaders during the emergency EU summit. He emphasized that the meeting with Trump was "extremely important" and focused on nuclear energy. The issue of Trump's health is sensitive, given his age (79 years old) and references made during the election campaign regarding the ability of his opponent, Joe Biden. Trump, during his campaign, portrayed Biden as incapable while simultaneously assuring his own excellent condition.
