Trump Unveils 'Peace Council' at Davos, to Meet Zelensky

Donald Trump announced the creation of a new 'Peace Council' at Davos, aiming to resolve international conflicts, competing with the role of the UN. Participation in the council will cost one billion dollars for a permanent seat. Trump claimed Vladimir Putin had accepted the invitation, while Netanyahu has already expressed his participation. The initiative has drawn criticism from key US allies, such as France and the United Kingdom, while several Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, have stated they will participate. Simultaneously, Trump is scheduled to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, having previously asserted that Russia and Ukraine should reach an agreement to end the conflict.
