Sklavenitis Invests in Franchising and Ready-to-Eat Food

Sklavenitis is introducing a new store concept, “SKLAVENITIS Food to Go”, aiming to expand its activity into the ready-to-eat food and convenience market. At the same time, it is strengthening its presence in franchising, with a more structured approach than in the past. Until now, franchising has been a small part of Sklavenitis' strategy, with only 26 out of 461 stores operating through partners. However, the new concept will be developed exclusively through franchising, with an emphasis on selecting partners with experience in the catering industry or employees of the company. “SKLAVENITIS Food to Go” combines the characteristics of a convenience store and quick service restaurant, offering daily ready-to-eat food in individual packaging, with approximately 300 products. The pilot operation started with 15 stores, utilizing points from the acquired “Spitiki Kouzina”. Sklavenitis aims to develop the network in high-traffic areas, in urban centers and tourist areas. This move marks a shift by the company to meet modern consumer needs for speed and convenience.
