“Spiderman” Reveals “Embarrassingly” Low Pay for Netflix Skyscraper Climb

Alex Honnold, known for his live-streamed climb of a 500-meter skyscraper in Taiwan on Netflix, revealed that his fee for the daring feat was “embarrassingly” small. Honnold stated that the money he received is significantly less than what athletes in major sports, such as Major League Baseball players, earn. Nevertheless, he said he would have undertaken the climb even for free, as the challenge and the satisfaction of success are his primary motivations. The climb was particularly challenging due to the building's design, which includes segmented protrusions. Honnold described the feeling of solitude at the top as unique and unforgettable. While the exact amount wasn't disclosed, his fee is estimated to be close to a six-figure sum.
