The Guardian Satirizes Trump's 'Peace Council' with Cartoon – Featuring Famous 'Villains'

The Guardian has published a cartoon satirizing Donald Trump's 'Peace Council'. The cartoon depicts Trump sitting in an armchair with his name on it, surrounded by famous 'villains' from pop culture, such as Darth Vader, Cruella de Vil, the Joker, Hannibal Lecter, Mr. Burns, and Dick Dastardly. The cartoon serves as a critique of the council's composition and the message the Trump initiative aims to convey. In addition, it is reported that only 19 countries have signed the agreement for the Peace Council, despite Trump's initial statements that everyone would want to participate. The countries that have signed are the USA, Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan, as well as Mongolia. The Guardian's cartoon uses the image of well-known villainous characters to imply that Trump's advisors are controversial figures or that the initiative itself is malicious. The limited participation of countries in the Peace Council suggests a lack of international support for Trump's initiative, despite his initial expectations.
