Arsonists Burn 20-Year-Old's Vehicle in Strovolos

A malicious act was behind the fire that broke out in the early hours of New Year's Day at a vehicle in Strovolos. According to the police, around 2:00 AM, information was received about a fire in a vehicle, owned by a 20-year-old woman, which was parked outside her home in Nicosia. Police and Fire Service personnel went to the scene and cordoned off the area, while the fire had already been extinguished by residents of the house. The vehicle sustained extensive damage, and further investigations today revealed that the fire was set deliberately. The Nicosia TAE is continuing the investigation. This act is condemned by the authorities and causes concern in the local community. Police continue their investigations to locate and arrest those responsible.
