NEDISY Expresses Concern Over Youth Organisation's Functioning

NEDISY has expressed strong concern over the dysfunction of the Cyprus Youth Organisation (CYS), highlighting a prolonged state of procrastination and institutional dysfunction lasting almost a year. The president of NEDISY, Demos Georgiades, sent a letter to the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, to inform him about the problem before taking further action. NEDISY reports that regular sessions are not being held and that the few that do take place are pointless and do not lead to substantial decisions. The organisation hopes for measures to be taken to resolve the problems and restore the smooth functioning of the CYS.
