Archbishopric Issues Ultimatum to Former Bishop of Paphos

The Holy Archbishopric has issued an ultimatum to the former Bishop of Paphos, Tychikos, demanding the handover of the keys to the apartment where he resides within the Metropolis of Paphos by 10 am. Failure to comply will result in police intervention, according to the Archbishopric. Tychikos has already been indefinitely suspended and has returned to the Ecumenical Patriarchate. According to his lawyer, Irinaios Antoniou Yakoumakis, Tychikos resides in a small room in the garden of the Metropolis and his salary has been reduced by 55% without a decision from the Holy Synod. The situation appears to be escalating, with the Archbishopric taking drastic measures.
