New European Project with Cypriot Participation to Tackle Cybersecurity Threats in the Food Industry

A new European project, ACT4FOOD, is launching with the participation of Cyprus, aiming to address cybersecurity threats in the food industry. The project, coordinated by INNOV-ACTS Limited, aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of the food supply chain, from production to retail. The project involves 11 partners from 8 countries and will last 36 months. Technologies and methodologies based on artificial intelligence and blockchain will be developed to detect threats and ensure secure information exchange. The solutions will be tested in real-world use cases, such as aquaculture, dairy industries, and food retail. The goal is to protect critical infrastructure, data, and ensure food safety and consumer confidence.
