Συνολικά 39 πτήσεις ακυρώθηκαν σήμερα, Τρίτη, από και προς το αεροδρόμιο Λάρνακας, λόγω της κατάστασης που επικρατεί στη Μέση Ανατολή.
Συγκεκριμένα σύμφωνα με στοιχεία για τον προγραμματισμό των πτήσεων στο αεροδρόμιο, ακυρώθηκαν 16 αφίξεις και 13 αναχωρήσεις πτήσεων, διαφόρων αεροπορικών εταιρειών από και προς χώρες κυρίως της Μέσης Ανατολής. Μεταξύ των χωρών αυτών είναι το Ισραήλ, ο Λίβανος, τα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα, το Κατάρ, αλλά και το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (Heathrow – Λονδίνο).
Σημειώνεται ότι οι επιβάτες οι οποίοι έχουν προγραμματισμένο ταξίδι καλούνται να επικοινωνούν απευθείας με την αεροπορική τους εταιρεία ή τον ταξιδιωτικό τους πράκτορα για να εξασφαλίσουν τις πιο πρόσφατες πληροφορίες σχετικά με την κατάσταση της πτήσης τους.

Flight Cancellations to and from Larnaca Airport Due to Middle East Situation
A total of 39 flights were cancelled on Tuesday to and from Larnaca Airport due to the situation in the Middle East. Specifically, according to flight schedules, 16 arrivals and 13 departures of various airlines to and from countries in the Middle East were cancelled. These countries include Israel, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the United Kingdom. Passengers with scheduled travel are advised to contact their airline or travel agent directly for the latest information on their flight status. The situation remains fluid and cancellations may continue depending on developments in the region. The cancellation of flights is a direct consequence of increased geopolitical instability and concerns about the safety of air transport. Airlines are taking these cancellations as a precautionary measure to protect their passengers and crew. Cyprus, due to its geographical location, is particularly vulnerable to regional crises, and flight cancellations significantly impact the country's tourism sector and economy.
