Trump's Fleet Gets an Upgrade: New SUVs and a Plane on the Horizon

US President Donald Trump is upgrading his transportation fleet with new Cadillac SUVs and a new airplane. The Secret Service began using the new vehicles during the recent Davos summit, potentially replacing the traditional armored Suburbans. General Motors has already secured a $14.8 million contract to develop the next generation of the presidential limousine, with a potential cost of up to $40.8 million by 2029. Simultaneously, the US Air Force announced that Trump will receive a new airplane by the summer of 2026, as the current Boeing 747 experienced a “minor issue” with its electrical system. A Boeing 757, provided by the Qatari government and undergoing extensive modifications, is being used temporarily.
