After Double Training in Sardinia, Natasha Lappa Continues Preparation in Limassol

Natasha Lappa, a sailing athlete in the IQFOIL category, is continuing her preparation for 2026 in Limassol, after a basic training camp in Sardinia. From January 25th to February 14th, she participated in a camp with five other top windsurfers, balancing it with her academic commitments. Training in Cyprus includes a combination of gym work and sea training with Italian windsurfer Livia Passoni, and will continue intensively until the end of March, in preparation for the first World Cup in Mallorca. Lappa successfully combines sports with her studies, demonstrating the value of hard work and dedication. A typical training program in Italy includes double sessions at sea and in the gym. In Limassol, the athlete trains at sea after university. Lappa is satisfied with the progress of her preparations, as she has the opportunity to train with top athletes. Although she faced injuries in 2025 (surgery on her foot and knee) that kept her out of the sea, she is stronger than ever and preparing for the racing season. The first event for 2026 is the World Cup in Palma de Mallorca, Spain (March 26th - April 4th). 2025 was the best season of Lappa's career, with 20th place in the European Championship. The athlete is supported by various bodies such as Allwyn Cyprus, the ENA Foundation and the Cyprus Sports Organization.
