Isolated Rains Until Wednesday - Affected Areas

The weather in Cyprus is characterized by winds, rains, and dust until Wednesday. The winds, reaching 6-7 Beaufort today, Sunday, mainly affect the coastal areas, with an emphasis on Larnaca and later in the northeastern regions. Isolated rains and possible thunderstorms are expected to affect Paphos, Limassol, the mountains, and possibly Famagusta. The temperature will range around 18-19 degrees Celsius inland and 21 degrees on the coast. The dust observed on Saturday is receding, but is expected to reappear sparsely on Wednesday and Thursday. Substantial rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected from Wednesday and possibly Thursday, provided the warm low-pressure mass does not shift due to the winds.
