Reduced Water Flow in Three Cypriot Provinces Due to Desalination Plant Maintenance

Three provinces in Cyprus (Larnaca, Nicosia, and Famagusta) will experience reduced water supply for three days, from Tuesday, February 17th to Thursday, February 19th, due to scheduled maintenance at the Dekelia Desalination Plant. The Water Development Department (WDD) announced that water production will be significantly limited during the works. Citizens are urged to restrict water use to essential needs and avoid any unnecessary consumption. The WDD assures that it is working to manage reserves rationally and cover basic needs, while requesting public cooperation. Normal flow is expected to be gradually restored after the completion of the works.
