Large Quantity of 'Jihadist Pills' and Drugs Found in Paphos

A 24-year-old Syrian man was arrested in Paphos for the illegal possession of a large quantity of drugs, including 804 Captagon pills, also known as 'Jihadist pills'. During a check of his car, cannabis, cocaine, and methamphetamine were also found. Following the vehicle check, the YKAN conducted a search of the 24-year-old's apartment, where additional drugs were discovered carefully hidden, such as methamphetamine (crystal), ecstasy, amphetamine, and cannabis resin, as well as a sum of money. The suspect was driving without a driver's license and under the influence of substances. YKAN continues its investigations to determine the origin of the drugs and the extent of the illegal activity.
