Iraq's Oil Production Reduced by 70% Due to Situation in Strait of Hormuz

Oil production in Iraq has been reduced by 70% to just 1.3 million barrels per day (bpd) due to the country's inability to export oil through the Strait of Hormuz, due to air warfare operations against Iran. Production from the most important oil fields in southern Iraq, which was previously around 4.3 million bpd, has been significantly affected.
