2.6% Decrease in Agricultural Input Prices in Cyprus in Q4 2025

According to the latest Eurostat data, the average price of agricultural inputs in Cyprus, excluding investments (such as energy, fertilizers, and feed), decreased by 2.6% in the fourth quarter of 2025. At the European Union level, the average price of agricultural products decreased by 1.9%, while input prices remained relatively stable. Cyprus recorded the largest decrease in input prices, while increases were observed in Lithuania, Ireland, and Romania. Milk and cereal prices decreased at the EU level, while fertilizer prices increased. These figures indicate a general trend of declining agricultural product and input prices in some EU countries, while others are experiencing increases. The situation varies depending on the member state and the type of product.
