Traffic Arrangements for Paphos Carnival Parade

The Paphos Municipality has announced traffic arrangements due to the large Paphos Carnival Parade taking place today, Saturday, February 21, 2026. The parade will start from the Makarios and Resistance Monument and will last from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this time, traffic will be disrupted on central roads in Paphos, including Griva Digeni Avenue, Grigoriou Auxentiou, Evagoras Pallikaridis, Nikos Antoniadis, and Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, as well as adjacent streets. After the parade, traffic will be restored gradually on Griva Digeni Avenue and Evagoras Pallikaridis. The Municipality has designated specific parking areas for the public, including the former police headquarters, the 7th Primary School stadium, the Iakoveion Stadium, the 'Kravella' parking area, the Municipal Library, the A' Lyceum of Makarios III, and the parking area near the Pontian Genocide Memorial. Additionally, due to one-way streets, vehicles heading towards Andreas Tselepou Street must follow Andreas Geroudi Street (Markideio). The Municipality of Paphos urges drivers to avoid approaching these specific roads and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. The Municipality of Paphos apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused to the public due to the traffic arrangements.
