Kremlin Warns of “Unprecedented Escalation” of Tensions Around Iran

The Kremlin expressed concern over the unprecedented escalation of tensions around Iran due to the movement of US military forces to the Middle East. Moscow called on both Tehran and other involved parties to exercise prudence and restraint. At the same time, it stated that naval exercises between Iran and Russia had been scheduled before the current crisis.
