Kremlin: New Talks Next Week - No Comment on Attacks

The Kremlin announced that a new round of peace negotiations for Ukraine will take place next week, but did not disclose the location. American officials have proposed a three-day meeting in Miami, but there has been no official confirmation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Moscow and Washington are discussing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, but stressed that any progress in this area is unlikely before the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine. The Kremlin declined to comment on Ukraine's accusations that Russia struck the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba oil pipeline, causing disruptions to oil flows to Eastern Europe. Peskov referred questions to the Russian Energy Ministry. Previous rounds of negotiations had taken place in Abu Dhabi.
