Scam with Marriage in Cyprus to Steal Deceased Wife's Estate

A UK court has condemned Cengiz Arif for fraud after he was found to have forged a will and marriage certificate in Cyprus in order to inherit the estate of his partner, Kassy Sinar, who died of cancer. Arif claimed he had secretly married Sinar in Cyprus in 2006 and that a later will from 2023 left all the assets to him. However, investigations revealed that the marriage was fake and the 2023 will was a forgery. The estate, worth £500,000, will pass to Sinar's daughter, as stipulated in the original 2022 will.
