The forest road ‘Aphrodite Baths – Fontana Amorosa’ in the Akamas National Forest Park will be closed to the public from Tuesday, February 24, 2026, until Wednesday, February 25, 2026, due to road maintenance work. The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announced that the work is deemed extremely necessary and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to the public. If the work is completed earlier or extended, the Forestry Department will issue a new announcement. The closed road is a popular destination for hiking and nature, so its temporary closure will affect visitors to the area.
