A 30-year-old man has been remanded in custody for five days as a suspect in a robbery that took place in Larnaca in 2024. He is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with the case. According to police, the 30-year-old was located during a police operation in Limassol. Five individuals, aged 43, 42, 41, 29, and 27, have already been referred to trial in the case, with the last four being sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Dimitris Andronikou. The robbery was reported by a 58-year-old woman, who, along with her domestic helpers, was confronted by four masked individuals who broke into their home and stole jewelry and cash worth €188,000. One of the stolen watches was later found in a jewelry store in Lebanon, while a 41-year-old arrested for Andronikou's murder had implicated the other convicts. The accused face charges of conspiracy, robbery, burglary, and theft.
