Central Bank: 351 Investment Firms

The Central Bank of Cyprus has released data on investment firms for December 2025. A slight decrease was observed in the number of firms, from 351 in September to 350 in December. The total assets of these firms increased slightly by 0.1% to €7.9 billion. Specifically, assets include deposits and loans amounting to €827.4 million, down from €860.2 million in September. Simultaneously, securities decreased to €605.6 million from €613.4 million. On the other hand, stocks and other securities increased in value, reaching €5.87 billion from €5.84 billion the previous month. Overall, the data shows stabilization in the investment firm sector, with small fluctuations in individual asset categories.
