Warrant Issued for 44-Year-Old Man for Assault, Threats, and Insulting Behavior

A 44-year-old man, Giannos Ioannou, also known as Halloumas, is wanted by the Nicosia Police for facilitating investigations into a series of offenses. The offenses include assault causing actual bodily harm, threats, illegal entry, public insult, and others, allegedly committed between February 2nd and 8th, 2026, in the Nicosia area. The Police are asking anyone with information about the wanted man's whereabouts to contact the Strovolos Police Station, the nearest Police Station, or the Citizen's Line. The Police have released a photograph of Giannos Ioannou to help the public identify him. The aim is to arrest and question the accused for the offenses attributed to him, in order to restore law and order and ensure the safety of citizens.
