Complaint of Bullying of Vulnerable Students by Teacher for Appearance and Personal Hygiene

The Anti-Corruption Authority investigated a complaint against a teacher allegedly bullying vulnerable students by negatively commenting on their appearance and personal hygiene. The Authority found that the complaint did not concern acts of corruption, but due to the seriousness of the allegations, it forwarded it to the Director General of the Ministry of Education and the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of the Child. According to the complaint, the teacher makes offensive and disparaging comments about the students' clothing and personal hygiene in front of their classmates, negatively affecting their psychology. These students belong to vulnerable social groups and face personal or social difficulties. The Anti-Corruption Authority conducted a preliminary investigation and found no evidence of corruption. However, due to the seriousness of the allegations and the targeting of underage students, further investigation by the competent authorities was deemed necessary.
