Yellow Warning Issued for Severe Weather Conditions

The national meteorological service has issued a yellow warning for severe weather conditions, valid from this afternoon (18:00) until tomorrow morning (08:00). The warning concerns a combination of rain and isolated thunderstorms, with the possibility of hail. Snow or sleet is expected in higher mountainous areas, while winds will be southwesterly, moderate to strong, and temporarily strong on exposed coasts. The sea will be generally slightly to moderately rough. Temperatures will drop, reaching around 7 degrees Celsius inland, 12 degrees on the west coast, 9 degrees on the other coasts, and 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is likely to form. These conditions are expected to continue in the coming days.
