Iranian Ambassador in Cyprus: Mojtaba Khamenei Injured in Hands, Legs and Shoulders

The new supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured in his legs, shoulders and hand during the American-Israeli strikes that led to the death of his father. This was confirmed to the Guardian newspaper by the Iranian ambassador to Cyprus, Alireza Salarian. Khamenei has not appeared in public since his election and is reportedly hospitalized, according to the ambassador. This confirmation contradicts previous statements by the president's son, who had said that Khamenei was 'safe and sound'.
